Let’s not forget baseball.
Football has begun, but let’s not get so wrapped up in the NFL that we forget baseball handicapping, especially the top profile that I have been sharing at betrepublic.com since Mid-May, the one that now has a record of 62-34 (65% at almost 100 plays.)
Take a quick look at this chart.
April: 4/26 NY/Bos Un 9’ W 4/26 Sea/LA Un 9 W
4/26 Mil/Hou Un 10’ W
May: 5/3 Bal/TB Un 9’ W 5/10 TB/Bos Un 9 W
5/10 Chi/Mil Un W
5/31 NY/Cle Un 10’ W 5/31 SD/Col Un 10 W
June: 6/7 TB/NY Un 9’ W 6/21 Milw/Det Un 8 W
6/21 Chi/Cin Un 8 W
July: 7/5 TB/Tx Un 9’ W 7/12 NY/LAA Un 9 Push
7/12 KC/Bos Un 9’ W
7/19 TB/KC Un 9 W 7/26 TB/Tor Un 8’ W
7/26 Cle/Sea Un 8’ L
August: 8/2 LA/Min Un 10 L 8/2 Chi/Fla Un 8 W
8/9 Oak/KC Un 8’ W
8/23 SF/Col Un 8 L 8/23 Mil/Wash Un 10 L
Sept: 9/6 Det/TB Un 9’ W 9/13 KC/Cle Un 9 W
9/13 NY/Phil Un 10 W
Every date has something in common – they are Sunday’s. The record? 24-5, 83% on Sunday.
Every day I go in the MLB stadium, in the “Battling the Beast section†and post all profiles that are active, whether I play them or not. I do this in case any of my teammates are looking for plays.
I mentioned on BRTV that this spot is something like 22-4 on Sundays. I didn’t know the exact record, but I knew it had a 16-0 run before the first loss. This morning, I went to my charts and got the exact record: 24-5. I played it, and PUB’d it to teammates, on 9/6, because I knew it was strong on the Seventh Day. Yet, this past week, I posted all three games in the MLB stadium but played only NFL. Mistake, as it goes 3-0.
There are three Sunday’s left this season. Let’s not make the same mistake twice . . . .
