We picked another winner in baseball yesterday and got more than we bargained for when the Nationals and Marlins turned a blowout into a battle royal. CF Nyjer Morgan was right in the middle of the scrap but after dust settled Florida closed the door on a 16-10 win.

It's not often we see a baseball fight where actual punches are thrown
Washington (-120) resumes play Friday in Pittsburgh while the Marlins are set to host the red hot, division leading Braves (-125).
SWEEPING SUSPICION
We pointed out yesterday how well Twins starter Max Scherzer has pitched in his last few outings and the right-hander did not let us down. Nine innings, nine strikeouts and one earned run against is an impressive line to say the least at Target Field.
Detroit is looking to avoid the sweep against Minnesota (-117) and with Justin Verlander (14-8, 3.58 ERA) on the hill, all that’s missing is run support. Scott Baker (12-9, 4.55 ERA) has pitched much better in the second-half and while the dog deserves a look, the "Under" 7.5 runs might be a better option.
MLB SYSTEM: “MAKE-UP” PLAY
One of the hottest road teams in past month meets its toughest challenge all week when Philadelphia trips to Coors Field for a makeup game against the Rockies (-117).
Philadelphia is 11-2 on the road since the start of August but Colorado has won 12-of-15 at home. The Phillies have won four-straight vs. the Rocks, averaging 6.25 runs per game, but Colorado is 43-21 at Coors with an impressive 5.8 RPG average.
The system that’s "live" is looking for a starting pitcher who gives up 5.5 or less hits per start backed by a well rested bullpen that has worked four innings or less in the past three games.
This system is 63-18 the last five seasons including a 15-5 (75-percent) mark this season and 38-14 record the previous three seasons.
Colorado refuses to go down without a fight and with a nice 41-15 record in their last 56 home games vs. right-handed starters; the Rockies are our system play of the day.
Pick: Take the Rockies
