Oddsmakers opened the line at Denver -3.5 but heavy, one sided action throughout the day has driven the line up by at least a point at several online sportsbooks. Denver is the highest scoring team in the league at 109.7 points per game while Charlotte ranks second lowest with just 89.4 points per game.
Denver has won three-straight on the road and four consecutive games overall, including the first two of this road trip.
Toronto (-8) looks for its first three-game win streak of the season when the 3-17 Minnesota Timberwolves visit in the only other 7 pm ET tipoff; the Raptors looking to build on Saturday’s huge, 32 point win over the Chicago Bulls. The last time the Raps won a game by double-digits the team went on to lose five-straight SU/ATS and bettors should look for a concerted defensive effort as the team tries to prevent history from repeating itself.
Milwaukee is at Boston (-12) and in Memphis the Cleveland Cavs (-7) are getting attention as the team continues to gather steam following a tepid start.
The Cavs lost two in a row to start the season and three of their first six but have since taken control of the Central division and are 7-2 ATS in their past nine.
In other action the Nets are in Chicago (-6.5), Sacramento plays at New Orleans (-9) and the highest Over/Under number of the night belongs to Phoenix at Dallas (-4), where betting the "Over" calls for at least 215 total points.
The Clippers will host Orlando (-7) in a late game when the Magic go for its sixth consecutive win. Orlando has only covered the spread in three of its past six games but have owned the Clip, winning all four meetings since Jan. 9, 2008 straight-up and against the spread.
