Nine NHL games on tap for Tuesday

Hoping for a better turnout than the Calgary Flames following a busy weekend of trading, the Toronto Maple Leafs host the New Jersey Devils (-145) tonight in what should be the debut for J.S. Giguere with his new team. The Devils have opted to go with backup goaltender Yann Danis instead of superstar Martin Brodeur in net as Toronto will look to erase memories of a 3-0 lead blown to Vancouver on Saturday.

Washington (-145) is at Boston and the highest total of the night goes to Tampa Bay-Atlanta "Over" 6 (-125).

Vancouver (-155) plays the second of its 14-game road trip in Montreal where the Habs are without leading goal-scorer Mike Cammalleri (knee). The Canucks have won seven straight overall and are 13-1-1 the past 15 meetings with the Canadiens.

Phoenix is also hot, riding a four-game win streak into Nashville (-145) and Minnesota plays the final game of its three-game road trip at Dallas (-140) where Marty Turco gets the start.

Columbus is at Colorado (-170) and Detroit looks to see if it can close the deal in San Jose (-180). The Red Wings have just two wins in their past nine games but five-of-seven losses were in OT or a shootout. San Jose did not start off the year as strong at home but have regained form going 5-0-2 since Jan. 9 when they suffered their last regulation home loss (4-1) to this same Detroit team.

The Rangers and new acquisition Olli Jokinen wrap up the card at Los Angeles (-165), the Kings first game back since a five-game road trip that saw the team go 5-0.
