Horse Racing: Lays of the Day 2 Nov 2011

I will be laying the following at Kempton tonight:

8.10 Kempton

I will be laying the favouite TUDOR PRINCE in this race. Although he has made the frame in his last three AW appearances, including a close fourth over C&D on his latest outing, he has a very poor strike rate and it is two years since his last win. No wonder he has been so weak in the market. Lay in the Win Market at under 6.0 on Betfair.

BR Betting Advice:

£50 lay Tudor Prince in the 8.10 Kempton at 6.0 or under on Betfair (Win Market)

These are the ones to take on at Wolverhampton tonight:

7.50 Wolverhampton

I can't back SUMMER DANCER here so I will have to lay it instead. The horse has not been in very good form and neither has the trainer, Paul Midgely, who has a lousy record at Wolves. I am happy to lay it in the Win Market at 5.8, especially given it hasn´t scored on sand since December 2006.

BR Betting Advice:

£50 lay Summer Dancer in the 7.50 Wolverhampton at 6.0 or under on Betfair (Win Market)

Horse Racing: Lays of the Day 28 Oct 2011

BR has taken a look at this evening's racecard at Wolverhampton and recommends the following horses as "lays" on Betfair:

7.10 Wolverhampton

In this 5f nursery I want to be against MJ WOODWARD. What counts against us is that Silvestre de Sousa, who is chasing the jockey's championship, has been booked to ride but that is about the only positive. There are plenty of negatives too: it has never before finished in a frame and the trainer is bang out of form without a win from his last nine attempts. I wanted to lay it in the Win Market but 8.0 is too big a price. So, I will bet against it in the Place Market at the much more sensible 2.6.

Horse Racing: Lays of the Day 27 Oct 2011

BR has been taking a look at tonight's runners at Kempton. These are the one we will be laying on Betfair:

7.00 Kempton

I will be betting against QUEENIES STAR in this race. Although it was a C&D winner in March and hasn't run too badly of late, the horse has a poor strike rate and I reckon it could finish out of the frame tonight. Lay in the Place Market at around 2.3.

Horse Racing: Lays of the Day 26 Oct 2011

These are the horses to take on today:

5.05 Haydock

I will be betting against the David Pipe horse here despite the fact the trainer appears to be in good form and that his horse, MY BROTHER SYLVEST, will be bidding for his hat-trick. The horse now has a double penalty in a better race and I think the extra 14lbs that he finds himself carrying since winning at Exeter a week ago will prove insurmountable. Lay in the win market at 2.5.
