14:00 – Andy Murray v David Ferrer:
Day Two of the ATP World Tour Finals sees both games from Group A get underway, with the home favourite Andy Murray beginning his tournament against Spain’s David Ferrer. Murray comes into the tournament in fine form and Bet365.com make him the big favourite to win his opening game. Their Andy Murray v David Ferrer odds are as follows:
Andy Murray odds – 1.14
David Ferrer odds – 5.50
World number three Murray comes into this match having lost just one of his last 17 matches since losing to Rafael Nadal at the Semi Final stages of the US Open and that came against Tomas Berdych at the Paris Masters last week. Murray won all three tournaments on the recent ATP tour of Asia including beating Ferrer 7-5, 6-4 in the final of the Shanghai Masters and 6-2, 6-3 in the Semi Finals of the Tokyo tournament. Murray has now won all of the last four meetings between these two players with a win at the Semi Finals of the Australian Open and at this stage of last year’s Tour Finals.
We see Murray winning this match too, and quite easily thanks to his excellent performances against Ferrer in recent weeks and having the backing of the home support.
Betting Tips Recommendation:
Our money is on Andy Murray 2-0 v David Ferrer @ 1.40.
20:00 – Novak Djokovic v Tomas Berdych:
The world number one faces the number seven in the final match of the first round of group matches at the o2 Arena and Bet365.com make Djokovic the favourite to extend his 7-1 record over Berdych in this match. Their Novak Djokovic v Tomas Berdych odds are below:
Novak Djokovic odds – 1.36
Tomas Berdych odds – 3.00
Berdych has not had the easiest time against Djokovic and has lost all of the last five matches between the two players, including all three this season with the last two games seeing him retire injured. The last two completed matches between these two players saw Djokovic win in straight sets at last year’s Tour Finals and at the Quarter Final stages of the Australian Open at the start of the year. Since then Djokovic has become a stronger player and although he comes into this tournament struggling slightly with injury, we feel that he has more than enough to defeat the Czech world number seven. Our money on this match is going on Djokovic to continue his straight sets victories over Berdych.
Betting Tips Recommendation:
We are backing Novak Djokovic 2-0 v Tomas Berdych @ 1.90.
